Ramona joined ECAM as Executive Director in 2021. Through her tenure with ECAM she has set the bar high in advancing the association's Strategic Plan. Over the past 20 years she has served as a strategic leader through elected, appointed, volunteer and employment roles in the fields of Public Education, Child Protection, Vulnerable People, Healthcare, Housing and Construction. With an Advanced Degree in Applied Economics from the University of Manitoba, Ramona has a keen understanding of cause vs correlation relationships and a demonstrated skill as a critical thinker. She gained essential knowledge of the Contracting Industry while supporting her husband in his career as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager within the Industrial vertical infrastructure sector. Ramona believes in the good intention of people and the importance of pursuing difficult conversations. Through these beliefs she enjoys the political arena and embraces change. Ramona has strengthened the voice of the industry within the community. Her number one joy in life are her children and late husband. Ramona and Cal committed to raising their children to persevere, be led by strong moral compasses, and to be kind. Their family has a comical approach to life; #dobetter.

Abby joined the ECAM team as the Office and Board Administrative Coordinator in 2023. Abby has over 15 years experience in Customer Relations and changed her focus in 2017 to Administration and Accounts Payable while working within the Fitness Industry. When she is not at work, one activity Abby is passionate about is coaching middle school basketball. She plans to put the 5 C's of coaching (clarity, communication, collaboration, commitment, culture) into action while serving the Board of Directors, Board Committees, Work Groups, Executive Director and membership. Abby is the friendly voice that will most likely greet you when you call the ECAM office!
Alyssa Jonasson

Alyssa has been with ECAM since 2022, bringing a diverse background in events and communications. While studying Business Administration at Red River College, she launched a wedding planning business that provided her with invaluable insights into the events industry. After graduating, Alyssa transitioned to the non-profit sector as an Event Coordinator, where she successfully planned various events, including a golf tournament, a gala, and a street festival. When the pandemic paused many events, Alyssa leveraged her marketing diploma to pivot into social media and communications, further expanding her skill set. Her favourite event to plan is the annual Industry Gala.

Cara joined ECAM in 2022 as the Membership Engagement Ambassador. This friendly pup loves treats, belly rubs, and the chance to brighten everyone's day! Cara especially enjoys board meetings-particularly when lunch is on the agenda. Cara is dedicated to fostering a warm and welcoming environment for our members.
Meet Maui, our fiercely loyal office security guard! This Jack Russell may look small, but she brings big energy and an even bigger bark to ECAM. When she's not busy keeping a watchful eye on the office, you can find her playing catch, zooming around, or stealing toys from Cara. With her playful and protective nature, Maui keeps the energy lively and secure at ECAM.
